Dr. Lynda Stovall, joined our clinic in 2013 from Andover, Kansas. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders from Wichita State University in 2009. Dr. Stovall earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Wichita State University in 2013. Dr. Stovall is licensed to practice audiology in the state of Missouri and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Her primary focus is in both the adult and pediatric population. She is trained in performing both hearing and balance evaluations and treatment. She is passionate about getting to know her patients and helping them improve their quality of life. She is also dedicated to educating the community about hearing protection, hearing loss, balance, and their treatments. Her primary goal is to help patients make educated decisions about their healthcare and get back to enjoying the activities they used to. Dr. Stovall is the only Doctor of Audiology in West Plains. "I truly believe that being able to hear clearly impacts the spirit, mind, and overall well-being of a person, so I strive to care for you with compassion and understanding. I am committed to provide personalized service to each of my patients through my knowledge and experience in combination with innovative technology to give excellent hearing care. Your comfort and satisfaction is my number one priority." Spending time with her family, watching sports, reading and being outdoors are some of the things Dr. Stovall enjoys on her time off.
Office Manager/Hearing Instrument Specialist
Missy joined our clinic in 2006. She was born and raised in the Ozarks. Missy is a graduate of Missouri State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in General Business in 2002. Missy is not only our Office Manager but also a Hearing Instrument Specialist. She is licensed through the State of Missouri as well as trained with several hearing aid Manufacturers. She specializes in hearing aid selection and fitting, as well as hearing loss management through patient/family counselling. Missy's top priority with her patients is always offering the utmost quality care.

Treasa L. Slawson, AAS, BC-HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Southern Missouri Hearing Specialists welcomes Hearing Instrument Specialist Treasa Slawson. Treasa received an Associates of Applied Sciences specializing in Hearing Instrument Sciences at Ozark Technical Community College in May of 2014 in Springfield, MO. In 2015, Treasa received her National Board Certification for Hearing Instrument Specialists.
Before joining Southern Missouri Hearing, Treasa worked as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in Mountain Home, Arkansas for eight years.
She lives in West Plains, MO with her husband, Darin. They have two grown children in Springfield, MO along with their four grandchildren whom they spoil regularly. Treasa enjoys spending time with her family on weekends and traveling. Some of Treasa’s hobbies include reading, playing piano, hammered dulcimer and autoharp, also scrapbooking, kayaking, hiking and enjoying life.
Dawn joined our office when it was established in 2002. She is a native to West Plains but raised in Summersville. Dawn wears many hats in our office. Not only does she do billing coding and insurance, She also supports the front office along with scheduling surgeries. If you have any questions regarding insurance coverage for hearing aids, CareCredit, or patient balances, she would be happy to assist you. Dawn enjoys spending time with her family. During her spare time, she likes to watch movies, read and do craft projects.
